With a decent start at the box office with 4.75 crores on Friday, the movie somewhat lacked its expectations in terms of a 6-7 crores opening. Although the reviews have come out pretty well, this is surely a bigger success for Aayush as compared to his previous movie “Loveyatri”. The story revolves around the face-off between a Sikh police officer (Khan) and a gangster (Sharma), and like the original, it explores the hard conditions faced by farmers that push some of them towards crime. Intriguing and gripping with heavy dialogues and never-ending action, the movie has kick-started with a decent start at the box office with somewhat mixed reactions coming in from viewers. While the Bhaijaan fans who were desperately waiting for his comeback on the big screen have given out joyous reactions, others feel Aayush’s attempt in making the film a success somewhat failed.

“Just one word – power-packed,ek dum rada macha diya,500 crore se uppar.
@BeingSalmanKhan sorry bhai par iss baar #Ayush Sharma totally nailed it, felt like he lives that character. “Never seen such a classiest negative role in previous decade” tweeted a user.

If somebody else does the role of #SalmanKhan
I m sure this role count as a supporting cast role “ tweeted another. While some viewers expressed that the movie was more painful to watch than a root canal!
“It’s a poor excuse for a movie. Bad script, bad casting, bad dialogues, forced action, illogical song placement, illogical plots & twists make for a bad bad bad film. It’s a cringe-worthy movie & an assault on the senses. A root canal procedure is less painful” shared the user.

Aayush Sharma who has previously played a chocolate boy in Loveyatri put his acting skills to the test with this challenging role and fans have very well-liked it. While recalling the nerve-wracking experience of sharing the screen with his brother-in-law superstar Salman Khan, Aayush reacts,
“There was a pin drop silence on the set. Both of us were in our costumes and we were shooting a police station scene. Mahesh Sir (Manjrekar, Director) didn’t want us to rehearse as he wanted that unpredictability and some kind of awkwardness that the scene demanded. And the first time that I looked into Salman Bhai’s eyes in front of the camera, I froze. I realized he is the star I have grown up watching and now I was in the same frame as him.” Apparently, in a scene in the movie where Aayush is seen packing punches at the Superstar, he mentions “ I couldn’t do the first punch as I was uncomfortable. Salman Bhai said the whole country will watch this so I better fight with conviction” a scene that took almost 20 retakes to film.

The movie is directed by Actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar Actors like Sachin Khedekar, Upendra Limaye, Jisshu Sengupta, Chhaya Kadam, and Mahima Makwana are seen adding more authenticity to the film.
