Aayush Sharma Quits Salman Khan’s ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’

Aayush Sharma exits Salman Khan's 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' noting creative differences.

Salman Khan’s most anticipated film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has been making rounds in news recently. Since the announcement of the movie, many headlines were made about it. Earlier it was reported that Salman Khan opted for Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal in the lead role instead of Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade. However, now we have learned that Aayush Sharma who is also Salman’s brother-in-law chose to walk out of the film cast due to creative differences. It is said that the Loveyatri actor is disappointed with his character in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Reports also suggest that the Dabbang actor now wants to replace Zaheer Iqbal too and is now in search of a possible star cast. Quite a mess surrounds the making of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Apart from the change in cast, the film directed by Farhad Samji has been entirely taken over by Salman Khan and Films after interference with co-producer Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid will no longer be cashing in the film and these clashes have stopped director Farhad Samji from coming to sets.

After Sajid Nadiadwala pulls himself out Antim actor Aayush quits shooting. The team had commenced shooting but a source close to the production team said, “Yes the team of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali had begun work and shooting for the film. But some issues seem to have crept up between Aayush and SKF. Following these creative differences, Aayush has decided on opting out of the project altogether.”

Ask for more details about what actually transpired and the source continues, “Aayush Sharma started shooting for his portions of the film, and even completed a whole day’s worth of shooting. However, certain differences between him and the production house arose which ultimately led to him opting to walk out of the film.” Another source revealed that “Aayush had started shooting the film last week but wasn’t really happy with his role.”

The source added, “He went and told Salman that he wanted to do Zaheer’s part which was a stronger character. Salman wasn’t really happy with this. The two were seen in a heated argument before Aayush decided to walk out of the film. On the other hand, Salman decided to replace Zaheer too as he didn’t want to show any kind of favouritism.” The movie also stars Pooja Hegde and Shehnaaz Gill in pivotal roles. The movie was expected to make its way to big screens in December close to Salman Khan’s birthday. But now with a change in cast, the year-end release seems to be doubtful.
