Director and producer Prakash Jha is gearing up for the release of ‘Aashram Season 3’. Bobby Deol plays the titular role of Baba Nirala in the popular series with Darshan Kumaar, Anupriya Goenka, and Adhyayan Suman amongst others in pivotal roles.
During the latest press conference, filmmaker Prakash Jha was asked about who he thinks is the ‘Baba Nirala of Bollywood’, to this the filmmaker comically said, “Mere sab saathi to mujhe hi samajhte hain, mere se bada nirala to koi hai hi nahi (All my friends consider me for the nirala baba role, there’s no bigger nirala than me.)”
He added, “main kisi aur ka naam kyun lu main hi hu (Why should I take someone else’s name when I am).” Reacting to his reply everyone bursts into laughter.
Aashram is a crime drama that revolves around a Baba Nirala aka Monty, who has a wide number of followers, and thinks that he is a saint but in reality, it’s not true the baba is a conman. In the second season of the series, it has been cleared by the makers, now the third season will be interesting to watch whether the baba will get caught for his miscreants or not. Being a conman, he is quite talented in hiding his true intentions from the public and wears a mask of pretense before his devotees. Ujagar Singh, a cop, directs himself towards capturing Baba Nirala who doesn’t seem at all like the person he is supposed to be. The skeletons and dead bodies on the Ashram property further act as a catalyst that adds to the story.

- Chandan Roy Sanyal playing Bhupendra Singh aka Bhopa Bhai or Bhopa Swami.
- Aaditi Phonakar is playing Parminder, Pammi, to whom Baba misbehaves.
- Tushar Pandey playing as Satwinder Lochan
- Darshan Kumar in the cop role of sub-inspector Ujagar Singh is investigating Baba Nirala’s case.
- Anupriya Goenka plays a beautiful Doctors role namely Natasha
- Tridha Choudhary in the role of Babita
- Anil Rastogi in the character of Chief Minister’s role namely Sundar Lal.
Aashram Season 3 Release Date:
Ek Badnaam… Aashram Season 3 is directed and produced by Prakash Jha. It features Bobby Deol, Darshan Kumaar, Adhyayan Suman, Anupriya Goenka amongst others. Aashram Season 3 will start streaming on MX Player on June 3.
