Aamir Khan’s Brother Faisal Khan Gives Honest Review, Says LSC Is Not A Wow Film

Aamir Khan’s brother Faisal Khan is not much delighted with Laal Singh Chaddha

Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha was touted to be one of the biggest films of the year but it failed terribly at the box office. It turned out to be a disappointment in theaters despite releasing on a festive day. The film struggled a lot to get the audience to theaters but eventually, all the promotion tactics failed as shows of the movie were canceled. Faisal Khan brother of Aamir Khan reviewed Laal Singh Chaddha.

Faisal Khan revealed he did not watch Laal Singh Chaddha immediately. He watched it later and felt the film is not great overall but good in parts. He thinks Aamir should have selected a better script especially because he was returning after 4 years. Giving an honest review Faisal Khan says Laal Singh Chaddha did not have the wow effect.

Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after 4 years last appearing in Thugs of Hindostan that too was a debacle. Unfortunately, his star didn’t work as LSC, also featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, performed poorly. Faisal Khan who shared the screen with the actor in the 2000 film Mela is not much delighted with his brother’s latest movie.

Faisal Khan said, “I liked the film in parts, but not completely. With Aamir and other good actors you expect them to do too good work. They should blow your mind. But that didn’t happen with Laal Singh Chaddha, unfortunately. It was not a wow! film.”

Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump featuring Tom Hanks. The comedy-drama film also stars Kareena Kapoor and marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya. The comedy-drama movie is directed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom 18.

After receiving disappointment in theaters the movie also struggled in getting digital rights. However, the film is now sold to Netflix at a lower deal of 90 crores. The Hindi remake of Forrest Gump will premiere on Netflix after completing eight weeks in theaters.
