Last year Aamir Khan had announced that he has decided to take a break form acting for few years, but his recent arrival at Zoya Akhtar’s office has sparked some new rumours about them working together soon.
The actor was spotted out and about on Saturday flaunting his newly shaved look as he stepped out to meet Zoya Akhtar. And now Kamaal R Khan aka KRK who is very active on Twitter and known for his controversial remarks has confirmed the news about Aamir and Zoya working together on new project.
His tweet read, “Aamir Khan always do whatever he feels to do. He doesn’t follow other stars. He is doing a film with #ZoyaAkhtar means he is doing something non commercial. While all other actors are doing action commercial films now. So Let’s wait and watch if he can bounce back.
Aamir Khan Takes Break From Acting: Aamir’s last release was Laal Singh Chaddha in August last year. The film got positive to mixed reactions but ended up being a huge box office disaster. After the box office failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan decided to take a break from Bollywood. He said ‘When I was making a film as an actor, I used to get lost in it. Nothing else was happening in my life. I feel that it’s not fair to people who are close to me. So I decided to take a break”.
Aamir mostly stayed away from the spotlight thereafter and only had a cameo in Kajol’s film Salaam Venky. Meanwhile, Zoya Akhtar’s last directorial venture was Gully Boy (2019) starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The film was a box office hit and also bagged many awards.
