Aamir Khan no longer looking forward to Christmas to release his next venture Laal Singh Chaddha. The pseudo-historic epic, as seen through the eyes of a Sikh person played by Aamir Khan takes a look at the landmark events in India after the country’s partition into two countries in 1947.

Apparently the plot will now be extended to include the current global crisis without which the storyline would remain inadequate. A source close to the development has revealed, “It is self-evident that a film on the important historical happenings cannot be complete without communicating the Corona crisis. The shooting that is now halted would resume once the lockdown is over, with fresh inputs in the screenplay.”

Speaking of Laal Singh Chaddha, the film will be based on the 1994 Tom Hanks movie titled Forrest Gump. In the film, Aamir Khan will essay the role of Sikh Sardarji for the first time. The film will also feature Kareena Kapoor Khan, she will be portraying the role of his wife. Well, we can speculate that coronavirus will play the villain.

Recently, Aamir Khan’s look from Laal Singh Chaddha got leaked on the internet. He was seen posing beside a fan donning an army uniform with the badges and a name tag that read, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Unlike his common look in the film as a Sardar, Aamir looks dashing in his clean shaved avatar paired with specs and short hair.
