When Aamir Khan Abruptly Left The Screening Of K3G; Confessed He Hated The Film!

In one of the Koffee with Karan episodes, Aamir was honest enough to confess right in front of the director of the film, Karan Johar, his dislike for the film.

Aamir Khan is known for his perfectionism and honest, unbiased opinions. The actor has never shied away from placing his comments about films or any other issues, even if his remarks put him in trouble.

Once Karan Johar had mentioned on the Koffee couch that half of the film industry was scared of Aamir’s viewpoint and his brutal opinions.

He further went ahead and recalled how once Aamir had ignored the entire star cast of “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum” when Aamir was invited as a guest at the screening event of the movie even before it was released in theatres. Aamir was seen abruptly leaving the screening event, in order to avoid meeting the other casts, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Hrithik Roshan of the film as he thought it would be embarrassing to meet them after realizing that he didn’t like the film and hence decided to dodge the event.

When Karan finally confronted Aamir in this regard, he had nothing left to say but to accept the allegation. Aamir was seen nodding his head in approval while his ex-wife Kiran Rao, who had tagged along with him on the show couldn’t stop laughing.

“I remember Aamir, at the “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham” screening, he hated the movie and he didn’t know what to do because half the industry was in the movie and they were standing outside. And I saw Aamir from a distance and realized that all he was trying to do was dodge the six movie stars and get to his car so he could get away. Didn’t you?” asked Karan.

Well not only this, but Aamir has previously also confessed how he didn’t like “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s” Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Devdas”. Talking about the same the Lagaan actor said,

“Arre yaar, ab woh puch rahe hai mujhe kaisi lagi toh mai kya jawab du yaar, How do I lie if he is asking me how did I like his film?”

“See, according to me, I never judge a film and say this is a bad film or a good film. Who am I to judge? What I do say is whether I liked it or not. I can only tell my opinion. Mujhe ye theek laga, ye theek nahi laga. I don’t say the film is bad. It’s not of my taste. That’s it” he further added.

On his work front, Aamir can be next seen in “Lala Singh Chaddha”, with its worldwide release in April 2022 alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan.
