A Call To Spy: Radhika’s Film Releases Nationally In December

This news is surely going to come in as the happiest moment for quality cinema and international TV drama aficionados as our stellar performer and B town actress’s critically acclaimed and award winning international drama is going to be released in our country and surely her global fans are feeling excited as well as after winning hearts of global audiences and critics with the path breaking performance as Mahnoor Inayat Khan in A Call To Spy (2019), Radhika’s film releases nationally in December.

The official synopsis of the movie is, “In the beginning of WWII, with Britain becoming desperate, Churchill orders his new spy agency –“SOE” – to recruit and train women as spies. The spies, referred to by The Irish Times as “Churchill’s wonder women,” had a daunting mission: conduct sabotage and build a resistance. SOE’s “Spymistress,” Vera Atkins (Stana Katic) recruits two unusual candidates: Virginia Hall (Thomas), an ambitious American with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (played by Radhika Apte), a Muslim pacifist. Together, these women help to undermine the Nazi regime in France, leaving an unmistakable legacy in their wake”.

A Call To Spy has been written by Sarah Megan Thomas and written by Lydia Dean Pilcher. Where Sarah also stars in it with the hit crime series Castle (2009- 2016) fame internationally loved TV and Hollywood superstar Stana Katic along with Radhika Apte who debuts into Hollywood with this film.

During Radhika’s recent interview with a leading Indian digital entertainment portal, whilst talking about her internationally acclaimed film’s release in India said, “I couldn’t be happier to be an integral part of this film, working alongside such an incredible cast from around the globe and I am extremely excited about the movie’s release on Amazon Prime Video.
