Primary posters of Kabir Khan directed 83’ have created a lot of buzz amongst the audience prior to its release. Ranveer Singh who is going to essay the role of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev in this movie has shared yet another primary poster and has unveiled a new member of his 1983 World Cup-winning team.
Ranveer Singh has introduced us to Pankaj Tripathi who will be essaying the role of team India’s Chief from back then, PR Man Singh. In this poster, we can see Pankaj Tripathi donning a clad blue blazer with a patch on the pocket which reads, “Manager India 1983”. With a pair of glasses to complete the look, Pankaj Tripathi seems dashing in his new avatar.
Talking about PR Man Singh, he was the manager of Kapil Dev’s team back in 1983 and also of 1987’s Team India which managed to reach the semi-finals of the World Cup Tournament that year.
Pankaj Tripathi even met PR Man Singh prior to the shoot and had a great experience meeting him.
83’ the movie will release in three languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu to cater majority of the movie-going audiences. According to the hearsay, the original team of 1983 will join Kabir Khan’s reel life devils for the poster launch of 83’ in Hyderabad.
The film will hit the big screen on 10th April 2020.
