2021 has almost come to an end and we have mixed emotions about this year. It was a difficult one. Things weren’t easy when the second wave of Covid-19 hit India, claiming lakhs of lives. Many of us are still working from home, deprived of social life. But 2021 wasn’t that bad after all. People found ways to come together and entertain themselves, all thanks to social media.

1- Pawri Ho Rahi Hai:
After one year of dealing with Covid-19 and lockdowns, people filled themselves with joy with ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ trend. The 19-year-old Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen became everyone’s sweetheart after her short clip went viral. Her craze multiplied when singer Yashraj Mukhate remixed her clip. The short clip of a few seconds united billions of people from India and Pakistan to groove together and share their versions of party. Many Bollywood celebs also hopped on to this trend.

2- Bachpan Ka Pyaar
A few months after the ‘pawri’ craze, people found their new love when a clip of a schoolboy singing ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’ surfaced on the internet. In no time, everyone was lip-syncing to it. Later, rapper and singer Badshah collaborated with the boy and officially released the song. Lakhs of people have made Instagram reels on that song.

3- In Da Getto
The next trend followed by Instagram users was ‘In Da Getto’. People around the world went crazy over J Balvin and Skrillex’s song. People danced to the song in a grocery store with some weird moves.

4- Jugnu
After ‘Bachpan Ka Pyaar’, Badshah gave another reason for people to shake their legs. He released a song titled ‘Jugnu’ in October and many Bollywood celebs, influencers and dance lovers tried the hook step of the song on social media.
5- Bijlee Bijlee
Another song that made everyone groove was Harrdy Sandhu’s ‘Bijlee Bijlee’. This song too has some catchy beats and interesting dance steps that’s making lakhs of people hop on to the trend.
