Amar Akbar Anthony is a 1977 Indian masala film directed and produced by Manmohan Desai and written by Kader Khan. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Vinod Khanna, and Amitabh Bachchan opposite their female leads Shabana Azmi, Neetu Singh, and Parveen Babi, with Nirupa Roy, Pran, and Jeevan in supporting roles. The plot focuses on three brothers separated in childhood who are adopted by families of different faiths: Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity. They grow up to become respectively a police officer, a qawwali singer, and the proprietor of a bootleg tavern in a poor neighbourhood.

Forever classic, Prem Rog is a 1982 Hindi-language musical romance film directed by Raj Kapoor. The film tells the story of a man’s (Rishi Kapoor) love for a woman who is a widow and of a higher status (Padmini Kolhapure). This film marked Raj Kapoor’s return to social themes. The screenplay was written by Jainendra Jain and Kamna Chandra. The film stars Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Singh, and Rakesh Roshan as college students, who play a prank and get involved with a notorious criminal. The film turns quickly from fun and frolic to a taut thriller. Iftekhar, Dev Kumar, and Aruna Irani also star in the film. The film was remade in the Malayalam language as Aruthu.
