39 Years In Bollywood: Anil Kapoor Recalls His Best Films & Hollywood Journey

Anil Kapoor made his Bollywood debut in 1983 with the film 'Woh Saath Din'. This year, the JugJugg Jeeyo actor has completed 39 years in Bollywood. Watch his reaction as he recalls his best films of his career.

Anil Kapoor recently completed 39 years in Bollywood. He played his first Hindi film leading role in Woh Saat Din (1983) and went on to deliver some blockbuster ad classic films like Mr. India, Ram Lahan, Beta, Nayak etc.

On completing 39 years in Bollywood, Anil cherished his journey and named some of his best films. He said during an interview, “It’s been an amazing experience. From Woh Saat Din to JugJugg Jeeyo, the journey has been amazing. There are several memorable films of mine that are watched till date. Some of them are Karma, Mr India, Lambe, 1942: A Love Story, Parinda, Ram Lakhan, Tezaab, Eeshwar, Beta, Slumdog Millionaire, Dil Dhadakne Do, Welcome, No Entry and Nayak. There are so many films.”

“And now there’s Thar, AK Vs AK, JugJugg Jeeyo. What else can one ask for? Bahut diya dene vaale ne, aanchal mein hi na samaay. Shukriya- this is what I would say to everyone,” he further added.

Speaking of his Hollywood journey and setting a benchmark for others, he said, “I have been very fortunate that I got to work in some international films. Such films earned like Rs 5000 crores and I was a small part of those films. So, I feel fortunate to get films like Mission Impossible 4 and Slumdog Millionaire.”

Anil Kapoor’s latest release was ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’. It is a family drama film directed by Raj Mehta. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli. He now has four more films in his pipeline.
