For those who may not know, Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have only gone head-to-head at the box office once, back in 2007, when their films Saawariya and Om Shanti Om were released on the same day. Since then, the two actors have never faced another box office clash. However, that’s about to change.

This project will also be Alia’s second film alongside Ranbir, following their earlier appearance in Brahmastra. Additionally, the film features Vicky Kaushal, who has previously worked with Alia in Raazi and with Ranbir in Sanju.
While Love And War is scheduled to release on 20 March, Shah Rukh Khan’s, “King” on the other hand, is expected to hit the theatres on 19 March 2026. Both films have been strategically timed to capitalize on the holiday season.
