Blake Shelton Soon To Release New Duet ‘Happy Anywhere’ With Beau Gwen Stefani

The music superstars and coaches from "Voice," who have been dating since 2015, collaborated on the latest song from Shelton, "Happy Anywhere," which will be released Friday.

The country singer, 44, will drop “Happy Anywhere,” a new single he and his girlfriend, 50, collaborate on later this week. During its airing on this Friday, the pair will perform the new song together on the Today show.

Blake Shelton sings about being comfortable no matter where he is, as long as Gwen Stefani is on the track by his side following their duet “Nobody But You” from earlier this year. The star said the song became much more important in the midst of the pandemic that is going on.

“Even though Gwen and I just had a single out, we decided that, under the circumstances, this year … man, there’s never been a better time for ‘Happy Anywhere,'” Shelton stated in a press release.

“We’ve all been in quarantine and lockdown, and hopefully we’ve been doing that with somebody that we really love and enjoy being around,”  he continued. “That’s what happened with Gwen and me this summer — and this entire year.”

Shelton is collaborating with Encore Drive-In Nights on Saturday to host a one-night stylistic concert experience featuring Stefani and Trace Adkins.

“This is such a great way to enjoy music with your family and friends and stay safe,” he said adding, “I’m excited we’re getting the chance to perform a concert for fans, and we’re going to go back and play old hits like ‘Austin,’ newer songs like ‘God’s Country,’ and we might even introduce something brand-new! So fill up those popcorn tubs and get ready for some country music.”

Shelton celebrated the first chart-topper in the country genre by pop star girlfriend when “Nobody But You” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in April.

In a nice tweet at the time, Shelton applauded Stefani on her performance. “Congratulations @gwenstefani on your first country song going #1 at country radio!!! Not bad for your first try!!!!! Thank you all as well!!! #nobodybutyou,” he wrote.

Stefani replied with a message that reads, “Trying to wrap my head around the fact that I even get to know you Blake Shelton-let alone be on Such a beautiful classic duet w u?! thank you! for taking me along on this ride with you!!” she added. “I am so grateful and blown away by all the support everyone has shown us!!?!! gx.”
