One of Bollywood’s most promising actors Sushant Singh Rajput died of suicide on June 14, 2020. Post his tragic death incident, many controversies erupted on the social media platforms and it seems like all of it won’t cool down anytime soon.
The Kai Po Che actor didn’t leave any suicide note and was reportedly battling depression from the past couple of months. However, people blamed nepotism and the powerful gangs of Bollywood as a reason for the 34-year old actor taking this drastic step to end his life. The netizens stormed the internet and shared how some of the big names of Bollywood like Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and a few others boycotted Sushant in the industry.
A couple of days back, a local advocate in Bihar named Sudhir Kumar Ojha had filed a case against these biggies of Bollywood. However, his plea has been rejected by Chief Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar, stating that this matter lay outside the Bihar court’s jurisdiction.
The local advocate filed the case 3 days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. In his witness list, he mentioned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s name. The Queen of Bollywood was the first one among the celebs to blame favoritism and nepotism in the industry post Sushant’s untimely death.
Meanwhile, Sudhir Kumar Ojha is not in a mood to stop, he has said that he will challenge the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s decision before the district court.
For the unversed, Bihar was Sushant Singh Rajput’s hometown, and post his death the whole state has been in pain.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police is conducting its investigation in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. They are currently trying to focus on professional rivalry matters. Till now they have recorded statements of more than 25 people including his rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
