In 2005, three brothers from Wyckoff, New Jersey, captured the world’s attention when they recorded their first album for Hollywood Records, a label owned by Disney. The band, consisting of Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas, has an exciting new announcement for their fans.
On Tuesday, the brothers revealed their return to Disney with a new holiday movie titled “Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie.” This holiday comedy will follow the three brothers as they encounter a series of escalating challenges while trying to travel from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families. The film is set to premiere by the end of this year on Disney+
Jonas brother in a collaboration post with Disney+ took to their Instagram to break the news in a pretty interesting way. They shared a video recording themselves while they held a bunch of placards with the announcement message written on it. The caption to their post read, “Too early for Christmas? 🎅🏼 Nah. The Jonas Brothers Christmas movie premieres later this year, only on #DisneyPlus!“
According to an exclusive report by Variety, Jessica Yu will be directing the movie. The production will be handled by the Jonas Brothers themselves alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan. Highly loved by fans, the brothers’ band called it quits back in the year 2013. After which they reunited six years later with their song, “Sucker,” which became their first No. 1 single, and also the first to top the Billboard hot 100.
