Atlee’s directorial Baby John has finally released in the theatres. Varun Dhawan has made a comeback to the big screens after a long time, as we last saw him in Bhediya, in his full fledged star-in-action mode. Though, he was also there in the recently premiered show Citadel: Honey Bunny, but Bhediya was one of his spectacular performances over the larger screens, seeing which fans grew massive expectations from him. Now, that the film is out in the theatres, Baby John box office collection from Day 1 has been wholesome.

Baby John Box Office Collection : DAY 1
Baby John managed to do reportedly good on its first day. The film earned a total of 12.50 crores on Day 1 of its release. According to the reports by Sacnilk, the 12.50 cr mark is a good start, as it enters into a healthy competition with the Telugu cult-classic Pushpa 2: The Rule. The makers chose to skip a Friday release this time, and rather serve the movie to the audience on a holiday, i.e, Christmas holiday. The occasion-basis release turned in favor of the filmmakers, as it brought in ample viewers to the theatres. Especially, the cameo by Salman Khan also drew massive attention, increasing the numbers to a broader range.
After seeing Baby John box office collection day 1, it is highly anticipated that the film could easily enter the 100 crore club as it gradually garners the viewership. Baby John is remake of Atlee’s film Theri, which starred Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the main roles. This version of the film stars Varun Dhawan , with Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh working alongside him in significant roles. Adding to the charisma is Salman Khan’s cameo, the glimpse of which was shown in the theares.
