After a poor pre-sales performance, and selling less than 1000 tickets, Neeraj Pandey’s “Auron Mei Kahan Dum Tha” faces a disappointing box-office collection on its opening day. The reports from Sacnilk are out and clearly reveals a disastrous debut at the ticket windows.
Auron Mei KahanDum Tha started off with mere 6.3% viewership in the morning show which rose to just 12.01% at night. Industry tracker Sacnilk showed that by 4pm, the film did not even reach a 50 lakhs record. Despite the weekend start, the film managed to achieve only Rs. 2.1 cr of box office collection. The Tabu-Ajay Devgn starrer romantic thriller proved to be as confusing as its title, multiple film critics said.

Theatres in the major metropolitan cities offered very less shows including the Inox, PVR and Cinepolis with the highest number of shows ran in Delhi NCR, and the lowest in the Chennai region with 32 shows.
Not only was the box office collection weak, but the ratings and reviews also did not open much doors for the movie. Many platforms gave it a 2 or 2.5 stars out of 5. Overall, the movie is yet not seen catching up with good speed even on the second day. However, makers still have a hope of receieving good collection over the weekend run. Auro mei kaha dum tha released in the theatres alongside Ulajh, a Janhvi Kapoor-Gulshan Devaiah starrer political-thriller.
