In a career spanning for as long as 3 decades, one cannot remember any instance of seeing the Bollywood megastar Salman Khan kissing any of his co-star on screen no matter what!
While the Dabang actor has always maintained that the reason behind his ‘no kissing’ policy is that he has always wanted his films to be a family entertainer and he would not like his movies to get awkward for families watching it together.
Salman, who recently shot for the second season of the much loved comedy ‘The Kapil Sharma Show‘ will be seen along with both his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan. The trio made some startling revelations about each other and created an absolute laughter riot on the sets along with the showhost and the very talented comedian Kapil Sharma.
In one of the promo’s of the show; released by SONY, Kapil Sharma is seen asking Salman as to how does he deal with the awkwardness about romancing a co-star he does not know very well, to which Salman has replied,” Dekho kiss toh main karta nahi screen pe toh mujhe toh koi farak padta nai (See, I don’t kiss anyone on screen so it doesn’t matter to me).”
However, younger brother Arbaaz is quick to take a jab at bade bhaiya saying that,” Woh itna kar lete hain off-screen ki on-screen zaroorat hi nahi padti (He does it so often off-screen that he doesn’t need to do it on-screen).”
This left the audiences of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ in splits. Comedian Kapil Sharma has come back with his baby project after a sabbatical of one long year and the audiences had clearly missed the ultra talented comedian.
Though, revealing the real reason behind his no ‘on screen kissing policy’ the actor has said in an interview sometime back, “I’ve felt awkward when we used to watch films on VHS (Video Home System) at home. Our whole family used to watch English films and when the main lead and the heroine would kiss on screen, you know, we used to feel awkward and turn around and start talking. That’s stuck in my head, so I’ve never done that.”
Well, the brother have most certainly given us major sibling goals with the younger brother taking the elders case in his most vulnerable moment!
On the professional front Salman will now be seen in ‘Bharat’ opposite Katrina Kaif.
