The untimely demise of one of Bollywood’s promising actors Sushant Singh Rajput has lead to a heated debate on the topic of nepotism and the existence of powerful camps in the B-Town. There have been several verbal spats between celebrities over the past few weeks surrounding the topic.
Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap too has been voicing his opinions on the subject as well. However, Anurag’s recent attempt to express his thoughts on the nepotism debate led him to apologize to Tiger Shroff’s mother. The ace director shared a piece of news featuring Tiger Shroff and Saif Ali Khan-Kareen Kapoor Khan’s 4-year old son Taimur Ali Khan. The piece of news explained how nepotism works in Bollywood.
But the tweet didn’t go well with Tiger’s mother Ayesha Shroff. She immediately replied to Anurag’s tweet requesting the latter to keep her son out of the on-going debate. Ayesha Shroff tweeted, “Yo! Don’t involve my kid in this!!”
To which Anurag apologised by tweeting, “I am sorry Ayesha.. I meant it for how media chases “Taimur”. Sorry to have hurt you. Just read this.”
The whole banter began when the filmmaker tweeted, “This is nepotism by media ..? Why?? Because this is what you the audience wants to see.. So isn’t it nepotism by you the audience too??”

However, actress Kangana Ranaut’s team stepped into the interaction and pointed out Anurag’s double standards. The actress’s Twitter team retweeted a fan’s thoughts to the interaction and wrote, “Will @anuragkashyap72 apologise to Kangana’s or Sushant’s parents? No, but he will apologise to Tiger’s parents. Double standards!”
Well, Kangana Ranaut and Anurag Kashyap have given their candid and unfiltered opinions on the on-going nepotism debate and there seems no-stopping for the two.
