Amitabh Bachchan Tests Positive For Coronavirus; Admitted To Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital

Amitabh Bachchan, the Bollywood superstar, took to Twitter to reveal that he has tested positive for Covid-19. He is admitted into the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Amitabh took to Twitter to share the news. He tweeted, “I have tested CoviD positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff underwent tests, results awaited.. All that has been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!”

Amitabh Bachchan ‘s health has weakened over the last few months and he has also been restricted from traveling outside Mumbai by doctors.

Talking to a news portal a Nanavati Hospital official has confirmed the hospitalization of Big B. Amitabh Bachchan confirmed his corona test at 10.52 p.m. and also said that all the people who have come in contact with him in the last 10 days have all completed their tests. All of Amitabh Bachchan’s family members and their staff were also tested, whose results are awaited.

Devendra Fadnavis, former Maharashtra CM, was among the first to take to Twitter to wish the Big B a speedy recovery. The BJP leader from Nagpur wrote in his tweet that he wished the actor a speedy recovery.

Union Minister for Health Dr. Harsh Vardhan, who was at the forefront of India’s health crisis, called the actor an “idol of millions… an iconic superstar” as he wished him a speedy recovery.

Talking about the filmy career of Amitabh then Amitabh is very active at this age especially. In the Coronavirus pandemic, Amitabh Bachchan was continually active even while quarantined at home. He also filmed a short film and a 12th season promo of his popular television program Kaun Banega Crorepati while at home, in addition to capturing all the government messages. 

Amitabh Bachchan was last seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Shoojit Sircar’s comedy-drama, Gulabo Sitabo. Initially, the film was supposed to be released in theaters but it debuted on Amazon Prime Video due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen next in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starring Brahmastra.
