In an open letter to Dhanush, Nayanthara recently addressed her issues leading to a bunch of controversies round the industry. The actress has accused Dhanush of filing a ₹10 crore lawsuit against her for using a three-second behind-the-scenes clip from their film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, in her Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairy Tale. As an added reaction to this ongoing situation, the actress shared a new post expressing her gratitude to all the producers she has worked with, who have supported her without causing any disruptions or delays.

Nayanthara took to her Instagram, releasing a heartfelt note to Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. She also mentioned Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, A R Murugodas and other prevalent producers in the list. The issued statement read, “Our documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, has now been released. Every film I have worked on, holds immense significance in my life, as my journey in cinema is filled with countless joyful moments. Among these, many films are especially close to my heart, and I wished to include those memories and scenes in our documentary. When I approached the following producers to obtain No Objection Certificates (NOCs), they granted them without hesitation or delay. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of them.”
Post this, she mentioned the names of producers from multiple industries whom she has worked with. Nayanthara mentioned SRK and Gauri Khan’s name abd offered gratitude to their production house – Red Chillies Entertainment for providing her the NOCs within time.
There were more names from the Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu industry in the long – penned post. Fans reacted to the post giving mixed reactions. While some said that she is waiting for dhanush to give his reaction – many others claimed that this is just her way to perform marketing tactics for her latest released documentary. A user wrote, “She can’t stop talking about her crappy documentary.. ” Others criticized Dhanush for his behaviour. Seeing the post, a user wrote, “Even people from Bollywood, tollywood and Mollywood gave NOC because they don’t have any ego or jealousy with their co actors.”
For the unversed, Nayanthara diclosed that she and her team spent two years trying to obtain Dhanush’s permission to use footage from “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan” for their documentary. After he consciously to offer her team with a No Objection Certificate, they included behind-the-scenes visuals that were captured from their personal devices. After this, Nayanthara shockingly expressed that she was sent a legal notice after the trailer’s release, as Dhanush’s legal team accused her of using a three-second clip without permission and demanded Rs 10 crores in damages.
