A few weeks back entertainment industry lost two gems Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, now prominent TV star Sachin Kumar who has worked with Ekta Kapoor in various projects passes away due to cardiac arrest. The 42 years old star was the cousin brother of Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. The news was first announced by Actor Zulfi Syed took his Facebook page, he shared, “Miss you brother Sachin rest in peace gone too soon”
Just few days back on 13th May, Sachin celebrated his birthday. However, Sachin had quit acting long back, and later he turned photographer. Sachin’s Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki co-star Chetan Hansraj and film Critic Salil Saad is devastated by the sad news, sharing his grief, Chetan wrote, “It’s very shocking. I also got to know about the news from Facebook and hence I don’t know the actual reason for his death. We had worked together in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki but he had quit acting a long time back.” While Salil wrote, “We worked together and now one gets to know that you are no more!! #Stunned and #Shocked #SachinKumar”

Talking to a news portal, TV actor Rakesh Paul said, “I got information from Sachin’s staff that on Thursday night, Sachin went to his room to sleep, so the next morning he didn’t open the door long enough. Sachin’s parents arranged for the key and upon opening the door saw that Sachin was lying in bed in a dead state. Sachin and my friendship are more than two decades old. It can be said that in the acting world we started a struggle together. Both of us were always in touch with each other, but I could not meet them for the last five years. We always planned to meet each other and then for some reason we had to meet. I do not know if Sachin will leave without receiving me this way.”
Last year actor Kushal Punjabi and Sejal Sharma’s death shocked everyone as they were so young and now Sachin’s death is also a big loss.
Sachin played negative characters in the serials like Kahaani Ghar-Ghar Ki and Lajja. Both these serials have been one of the most popular serials on Indian Television.
