Actor Akshay Kumar is considered one of the busiest performers in Bollywood. The versatile actor is known for having many releases in a year and surprisingly most of his films do well at the Box Office. Meanwhile, the news is out that actor Akshay Kumar is joining hands with filmmaker Anand L Rai for his upcoming venture.
The film helmed by Anand L Rai will be focused on the bonding between siblings and is titled Raksha Bandhan. In the film Akshay Kumar will be playing the main lead, this will be his second collaboration with the filmmaker after Atrangi Re.
Written by National Award-winning screenwriter Himanshu Sharma, the film’s announcement comes on the day of the much-celebrated festival of Rakhi and the poster of the same was shared by Akshay Kumar on his Instagram handle.

The poster of the film promises a family film and the celebration of sibling bond in its purest form. In the poster, we can see Akshay Kumar hugging a couple of kids and it’s all smiles and warmth.
Akshay captioned the poster, “Hardly ever in life does one come across a story that touches your heart so deeply and so instantly…it’s the quickest I’ve signed a film in my career. The film will reportedly role by mid-2021 and will be releasing on November 5, 2021. Khiladi Kumar’s fans have gone gaga over the news and they can’t wait to see their favourite star in a new avatar.
