Ajay Devgn Makes An Announcement Of Film On The Recent Galwan Valley Incident?

Bollywood is known for showcasing real-life incidents in a movie form and even the moviegoers enjoy films of this genre. Meanwhile, after Bhuj: The Pride of IndiaAjay Devgn Ffilms & Select Media holdings LLP, once again, collaborated to showcase the strength and determination of our Indian Army during the recent Galwan Valley incident.

It is a known fact that actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn has always supported films or characters representing strength and courage. Previously, Devgn has starred in movies like LOC: Kargil, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, Singham, and Raid among many others. Now, he is once again set to highlight the strength, bravery of the Indian Army and the sacrifice during China’s recent intervention at the Galwan Valley.

For the unversed, on June 15, our troops were ambushed. The fighting resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers of 16th Bihar Regiment including its commanding officer, Colonel Santosh Babu. Twenty of our brothers laid their lives to assert the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our motherland, it is their story. It was the first casualties faced by the Indian Army in a clash with the Chinese People’s Liberation Army since 1975.

The film is co-produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilms and Select Media Holdings LLP. It narrates the story of the sacrifice of 20 Indian army men who fought the Chinese army. The cast and other crew are under finalization.

On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Maidaan. The film will narrate the story of the golden era of Indian football from 1952-1962. Ajay Devgn will be essaying the role of Syed Abdul Rahim was the coach and manager of the Indian football team. He is also regarded as the architect of modern Indian football.
