Actor and Shiv Sena leader Govinda suffered a shocking accident earlier, this morning. The actor accidentally shot himself by a gun while he was cleaning to keep it back in his shelf. The bullet struck one of his knees, after which he was immediately rushed to the hospital in Mumbai. Reportedly, Govinda has sustained injuries but is reported to be out of danger. Post the accident, the actor has shared his first statement, sharing his health update with fans.

Govinda Shares First Statement From Hospital
As Govinda continues to stay back in the hospital’s ICU ward, the actor-politician shared a first-hand health update with an audio message saying that he is out of danger. He thanked the doctors of Criti Care hospital, Mumbai where he is currently under observation. Expressing gratitude to god and his fans, Govinda said that their well wishes and prayers worked for him. In the audio message, Govinda claimed that he was ‘accidentally’ shot by his own gun.
Reports suggest that the police will be investigating the issue further once the actor’s health is stable. Because the misfire includes a revolver, the case might be handled in a ‘legal’ way, to avoid any such casualities in the near future. Questions might also be asked to the people who were present at the location when the accident took place. Media outlet ANI reported that the actor was about to leave for Kolkata, on Tuesday morning, October 1st when the incident took place. Further details, and other statements from Govinda are yet to be received. Fans are at peace, to hear the voice note shared by the star, confirming that he is in a stable condition now.
