Bigg Boss is the most popular TV reality show in India and is hosted by the one and only Salman Khan. The controversial show has made the career of several struggling actors. Despite its huge viewership and popularity, there are some Bollywood celebs who rejected the offer to participate in Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss. Let’s take a look:
1- Neha Dhupia:
Neha Dhupia once shared that she is a huge fan of Bigg Boss show. But when offered to participate in it, she rejected it by saying that she ‘Can’t stay in the constant glare of the camera.’
2- Surveen Chawla:
Hate Story 2 actor Surveen Chawla was in news for being a part of Bigg Boss 9. However, she denied the offer saying that she is a ‘Big fan of the show’ but doesn’t think she is right for it.
3- Honey Singh:
The popular singer and rapper Honey Singh was offered Bigg Boss season 6 but he rejected it because he thought the paycheck was too low.
4- Shama Sikander:
TV actress Shama Sikander who has also appeared in a few Bollywood movies refused to enter the Bigg Boss house because she can’t understand the fights and doesn’t find herself fit for the show.
5- Karan Singh Grover:
Karan Singh Grover was approached for the show multiple times but he rejected each time saying “I am a private person. I don’t like to be watched by someone 24X7. I need my space.”
6- Sophie Chaudhary:
Actor and singer Sophie Chaudhary rejected the show saying that, “I’ve been asked to do the show in the past as well but I’ve said no. I like shows where you can display your talent, not mental games. I’m far too emotional a person to be part of something so ridden with controversy.”
7- Poonam Pandey:
Poonam Pandey who rose to fame with 2013 film Nasha refused to take part in the show because she thought the paycheck was too low. She demanded a whopping Rs 3 crore which was not acceptable to the makers.
8- Shiney Ahuja:
Shiney Ahuja who was convicted under a rape case was approached for season 9 and 10. He refused the offer as he wanted to stay away from controversies.
