The ongoing farmer’s protest and rebellion against the recent bill which has been passed in the parliament has gone to another level altogether by getting more intense with each passing day, where recently the angry and agitated farmers who were on their way towards Delhi were apparently stalled and halted at the border by the Delhi police by using the water canons and tear gas on them. Even after going through the water cannons and tear gas, the farmers were strong enough as they didn’t budge and refused to go back after which now they have been given the permission to enter the city. Critically acclaimed stellar actress Taapsee Pannu gave several sarcastic and cryptic reactions on the ongoing farmer’s protests through many twitter tweets.
Ace Bollywood star Sonu Sood who has been helping the migrants and labourers even now after the lockdown phase, took to his twitter handle and wrote, “Kisaan mera bhagwaan (Farmer is my God).”
The Good Newzz (2019) fame sensational singer and prolific Bollywood star Diljit Dosanjh taking to his Instagram account wrote, “Baba BHALI Karey Ang Sang Sahai Hove”.
Ace stand-up comedian and Bollywood actor Vir Das taking to his Twitter handle wrote, “You just fired tons of water from water canons on farmers who are the worst hit every year by our national water crisis…and then they offered you drinking water. Drink that in”.
Exemplary B town star Swara Bhasker took to her twitter account where expressing her ire and rage on this shameful act by Delhi police, she tweeted, “SHAMEFUL conduct ! Shame on @mlkhattar govt. It’s 14 degrees in Sonepat just now!!!! Cruel inhuman people!”.
